I have owned my RAV4 Limited hybrid for 1 month / 600 miles. I m averaging 31 MPG on econ mode, FAR FARbelow projected and what others are getting. I don't jump into starts, don't do anything crazy, my 500 miles includes 2 ~200 mile trips. Haven't taken it to the dealer yet but the high fuel economy is THE reason I settled on this car and I can't begin to express how disappointed I am.
Other than that I really love this car. I wish designers had taken more advantage of potential storage spaces (doors or example), and the interior light button is easily missed in favor of the moon roof button. Other than that no other complaints.
I will be taking my Rav4 to the dealer to figure out why I am getting such abysmal fuel economy--seems everyone else is doing much better and I consider this a serious flaw in the car I got.
